I just don't know what my standards should be.

I do put on makeup. Yet, I consider myself attractive without it, at least on good days.

I think for me, the key to attractiveness is clear skin.

This will sound shallow, but I wonder why no one has approached me? Especially boys. If it's true that boys go for any attractive girl, my introversion and oddness shouldn't faze them. :T

I mean, some boys stare, but I don't care about that.

Really pretty women are seen as unobtainable by most men. So we won't waste our time trying. You'd most likely just reject us and we'd feel humiliated.

Other thing is also it's assumed since you're pretty you already have a bf. And asking you ask risks infuriating him.

I do like makeup, I get a nice sensory experience from my current eyeshadow, all shades of blue and grey.

I think me with makeup is a truer expression of me. It represents me on the inside, my tastes, my skills, my desires. Instead of the natural outside that I have no control over. Aren't our minds our true selves? I should think so, when in fiction people swap bodies, their minds are what determines who they are.

I wish others saw it like that, too.

I think it sometimes. But actually, I was honestly beginning to doubt myself right now. I thought that I was secretly ugly, because no one showed interest in me.

I have mastered looking confident on camera, though. You have to scrunch your eyes a bit when you smile.
