Disappearing avatar

As the title suggests, my avatar has disappeared a couple of times, about a month apart at first. I replaced it about a week ago, and it's already gone.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It has happened to me as well. Am looking into figuring out what is happening.

I couldn't see my avatar by the time I went to bed last night so I tried something this morning.

I installed the https everywhere add-on for Chrome and really cleared my cache, suggestions, etc. I typed in the address to get here, and I still can't see either avatar.

Just this second, I deleted my avatar from the User Control Panel and uploaded it again.

I loaded a new one from the WP stock images. Until the glitch is fixed, I won't re-load my previous one.

Mine disappeared again just now.

I can't see it on mobile, or desktop on either Chrome or Edge.
