For me, late spring or early summer, but not midsummer when it's too hot. Fall is a close second. Winter is worse than midsummer, in my opinion; cold is not good!

That glorious period in late summer/early autumn, when it's still hot enough to be out and about in a t-shirt and the air is no longer thick with bugs and pollen. Balanced only by the slight melancholy in knowing that the long dark is coming.

There is something good about all of the seasons. The climate where I live is very nice, not extreme in any way. We're having some rain right now, but we need it.

I would say that the fall season is probably the best.

I also like the spring. The tennis clay court season leading to Roland Garros is in full swing (pun intended) and Rafael Nadal is in the final in Rome.
