If I was a song, I would be this one.

I live in a Gingerbread, alpine world filled with snow, gingerbread men and Sweet Peas.

it is somewhere between this,

and on occasion this,
I Only Want To Be With You (Mono)
or possibly,
Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - Dancing In The Street (Official Music Video)

I like all of these songs.

CockneyRebel's song seems peaceful and dignified.

Double Retired's song seems somehow both profound and transcendent.

Tamaya's song seems empathic and anti-authoritarian  and a bit quirky.

pcgoblin's songs seem introspective, sunshine-y warm.

Still thinking about it. The song that first came to mind was too dignified to fit well

Then I'd better throw a spike in the works.

"A Love Suicide"

https://youtu.be/jig_BSvn8wE?si=Njgr2TNuZrjKIvtL

Wasn't a big of the video game Rule of Rose but these song lyrics fit me well.

"Alone, but sane. I am a love suicide. Because love itself is just as innocent as roses in may. It is pure just like sin."

Yeah, if I have a favourite band/singer from the 20th century then it's probably Fatboy Slim.
(I don't fancy him though, and I'm not obsessed or anything)

Some more information on Koyaanisqatsi...it is a music video that is the first film in a trio of films whose names are in Hopi. Here are some trailers for them:

1. Koyaanisqatsi (Life out of balance)

2. Powaqqatsi (Life that consumes life)

3. Naqoyqatsi (Life as war)

All three are excellent music. All three are incredible with both audio and video.

(These are just clips. Each film is an absorbing movie-length performance.)

And, no...I do not watch or listen to them often. That would be overwhelming.
