If you cannot understand why people do things differently everyday and feel they do things differently based on what you think you're doing or not doing look at this formula:

Person #1
w=work
c=co-workers
s=stress
b=boss
sl=sleep
e=etc

w+c+s+b+sl+e = You
20hrs. 4hrs. = 24 hrs. total (1 day)

Result: 20<5

Five is not greater than 20, so all the things that a person has in thier life affects things they do. And what we do does not play much part in it.

Now I understand this, with this kind of logic!! !! My friend explained it to me this way....Does this sound like a very Aspie way to explain something?

Ahg, I messed it up....Here try again.

e=etc

w+c+s+b+sl+e = You
20hrs. 4hrs. = 24 hrs. total (1 day)

Result: 20<4

Four is not greater than 20, so all the things that a person has in thier life affects things they do. And what we do does not play much part in it.

Now I understand this, with this kind of logic!! !! My friend explained it to me this way....Does this sound like a very Aspie way to explain something?

You CAN edit your posts, you know. ;)

And I don't understand why you need to seperate the day into 20 hours and 4 hours, then add it again, or what 4 and 20 has to do with anything. I do understand the concept of breaking down the components of how you spend your time and comparing that to the time others spend on things; it's simple statistics and, once you've got the actual time spent figured out, pretty simple math.

My Equation of Life:

r= routine/stability
i= interests (this includes school and hopefully a job one day)
f= family/pets
$= money
h= health (physical and psychological)
e= etc., environment, everything else
m= me

r + i + f + $ + h+ e + m = ME
1 day

With any one of these missing, the the Equation of Life does not equal ME. Or at least not a very happy ME.

My equation for life (as I have insomnia)

Awake + Awake + Awake + Awake + Awake +...... = Tired = Life

or more scientifically

Each day has 24 hours
each hour 60 minutes
each minute 60 seconds

= 86,400 seconds of tiredness/day
