I want to scream, but I CAN'T! Whenever I get angry, I turn into Mr. Hyde. My life is dominated by anxiety. I isolate myself to prevent sensory overload. I live i a house of 6 people, and they are all LOUD!! !!. I haven't had a good nights sleep in a year. I don't even want to sleep anymore because ...

Is there anyone here who lets out their inner psychopath in video games? And I'm referring to single player, so griefing doesn't count.

I'm 23 and still living with my parents. I have 5 other people living in my house. One is a lower functioning autistic child that's probably going to end up in the same garbage sack of a "autistic support" classroom I was in. My sister gets away with everything. I'm always the one that cle...

My first experience with mood stabilizers left me questioning how right the doctors are. I was put on Geodon, which made my weight go from 185 to 240 quickly. It also proved to be a VERY addictive substance. I'd go for days without sleep because I couldn't get my Geodon. I'd be having cold sweats an...

I know I'm not a parent, but this is getting out of hand. My step brother, who is also autistic, went from being a high functioning honor student, to being a incapable of anything. He becomes more and more picky about his food and will barely eat anything. This applies to food he used to LOVE, too. ...

Seriously. I'm 22 going on 23 and am still living with my parents. I have 5 other people living with me and and because I'm unemployed, I have to clean up after EVERYONE because "no one has the time" to take 5 seconds out of there day to god forbid throw away a flippin' soda can or an empt...

You won’t just get over it. Being suicidal is not something to be taken lightly. It sounds like you have some pretty severe depression. Some advice that’s helped me, which I received on here. Even if you can do one thing every day that is fruitful, useful or positive, it’s a good start. Even just p...

I can't do anything anymore. I have no energy, motivation, willpower, or any self love whatsoever. I am seriously thinking about killing myself. I'm afraid of everyone and everything. My PTSD has total control of my life. I can't even rest properly because I always have the same 3 nightmares. Every....

I have a bunch of C64's and play on them from time to time but I'm more of a ZX Spectrum man myself. EDIT: Well it's not so often that I find out about other retrocomputing enthusiasts, not outside the proper circles that is, so I decided to come back and write a bit more about it. I have three rea...

I do play games on their original systems, but it's not a C64. As mentioned above, they didnt exactly hit very hard in the US. I knew of them, but I've never seen one. The big one for me though is the Atari 2600. I've got cartridges everywhere. I do need to get a new unit though... I keep meaning t...

I'm curious about this, because I don't really know anyone else who plays retro games on their original systems. It's fun to have a break from all the "realistic" games and just eat pellets and ghosts in a maze.
