I relate to this very well. My son and I have the same diagnosis of ASD and ADD. Neither of us can filter background thoughts and noise during a convo for one. Don't feel embarrassed! I locked myself in the bathroom but it's right next to the kitchen so I went out the window. Bathroom windows seem to hurt more than other windows. :oops:
