| Honestly, I HATE tedious conversations, but a great stimulating conversation about something I care about? And the adrenaline rush? I feel like that cartoon of a Tasmanian devil, that's whirling around. So many parts of my brain are just lighting up and making connections and bloody hell... the adre... |

| Sooo... this was me, despite rarely getting anything lower than a B in 6th Form. And since I've been in University, I've graduated my last 2 degrees w/nothing less than a 1st or distinction (suma cum laude for Americans) and honestly? You need more time. You need time for these anxieties to dissipat... |

Could be perimenopause or long covid.
Could also just be a change in your hormones.
If it is menopausal a blood test would be able to sort it out.
Hope this helps xx |

| Most NTs are boring and are happy knowing the few things that they do know People are often surprised that I do multiple creative things, treating me like I'm crazy to want to have a wide skill set, especially when they seem niche Also, I feel like sometimes (even though we may find it strange) peop... |

| Psychosis is not a mental disorder. It's something that can happen to anyone when they're under pressure, either willingly or from external pressures, you do not need to have a MH disorder to experience psychosis I see it as a way for your mind to cope under pressure. It's easier to experience psych... |

| I don't think it was an excuse, more like a reason. It does sound like you lack empathy for that particular reason being used. Almost as if you would rather have him not mention it at all, like he should have some discretion with his son's diagnosis; this implies he should have some shame when discl... |

| You know you're autistic when you're in a restaurant and you're talking to a friend but you can't hear them because their voice and the noise around you has turned into one long buzzing sound, so you try to cover your ears a little to hear properly. You know you're autistic when you walk past a coup... |

But I don't want to adopt but I do want to have an anonymous sperm donor or maybe even someone I know (they wouldn't have to pay child support or any legal responsibility) but I'm not financially independent enough to do such things. I also think I might get a lot of stigma for ... |

| Restaurants, especially when busy, are far too loud. I went to the breakfast club in Shoreditch, a fairly popular place in East London, and I spent the majority of the time covering my ears with my hands. The food varied too much and the air was congested, so I felt too queasy to eat. I love eating ... |

This is really sad.
And I agree, Doctors in the UK are extremely arrogant and negligent. I hope whoever denied the family's wishes loses their license or at least pays just a heavy price. What a horrible way to lose your child. |

| How I wish I had this problem I've looked like I'm in my 20s since I was teen because I've always been big and tall for my age. I also mimicked my mum and older sister's fashion choice so I'd often get mistaken for a 23 year old at 15. I'd say it's all in the way you dress and even how you speak but... |
