The other day I posted a few poems on a site and attempted to socialized with the locals a bit...the only method of communication is brief blurts, that take a little bit to post. So one women says she sent another guy a text "I sent you a text message", apparently out of concern for his mental state...

If you aren't looking for some stimulating type of job that interests you...but just an income.

My Aspie does well at an all night type position just stocking, he seems to like the lack of social interaction and because it's repetitive he knows the job well.

...he has held it for 4 years now.

Have you tried talking with him about his playing habits? See what his thoughts are? Is he noticing/caring that he's playing the game to the exclusion of his old hobbies? I've got an idea... see if you can get him to write a story about his character. Maybe why his character does whatever it does. ...

I know that talking about wanting to ever hurt yourself is hard...but I really do appreciate the honesty, it makes me feel better knowing that it isn't as unheard of as I sometimes want to think it is..

I have read from many that they cannot do those things that you feel capable of though...so it would seem dependent on the person and severity.
