Texas DARS has not been able to get me a job partly because they tend to put all disabled clients into McJobs....I want to get a job through them that would use my degrees but they for whatever reason refuse to put me in a job that is not a McJob. They may not have any training or resources for hel...

I was talking to the lady at the golf pro shop. I found out that a guy brings them donuts every Sunday that get stale on Monday. She offered me some. I also found out that she knows about the Krispy Kreme at the Mohegan Sun. Risking my health eating donuts is my limit at the Casino. :D It was awkwar...

When I tried dating I could have supported a traditional wife, but I was too short and not skilled enough in social skills to hook up with someone like that. My father had a stay at home wife that raised two kids. Instead I have an paid up house, a very nice investment portfolio, and an early retire...

The problem with house-husbands is that they don't know how to maintain a household, so they are pretty much useless. I remember when women tried that, hooking up with men when they earned more, but the men didn't make themselves useful enough for the relationship to continue.

I had a Bible study class at a really good private school. I also attended a chapel service every morning.
I took Advanced Placement Math and Physics and got fives.
I did well enough in my University STEM classes to be inducted in three honor societies. :D

It isn't just income. Ideally the guy should also have enough saved for a down payment on the mortgage.

There are couples with enough income but haven't saved enough to buy a home.

I went to a potluck party and identified a newcomer that seemed left out.

I gave her my text number but didn't get one, so I asked the Party Organizer who she was.
Then I scanned the broadcast email sent to the group and picked her email out of the list to send her a follow-up email.

I need to downsize my garden so I've been giving away plants to members of my garden club.
In the past year I've invited people to come and dig up roses. It is good way for me to socialize one on one.
Roses are easy to transplant to new locations.

The big issue is the spectrum, with everyone being a little different. It isn't like Down's syndrome, in which there is much more similarity than differences. I'm one of those who doesn't fit neatly into any box. I have a lot of traits, such as an unusually good memory. I can resume conversations th...

It may be that she was "testing the waters" by dating other young men before risking a friendship.
She may desire an emotional connection as well as a physical one.

She used to be out of your league, before she got old. It certainly sounds like she is inviting you to make a move, if you so desire. She may be too "old school" to do any more than she has already. It is very hard to break decades of social indoctrination on what is proper. In her usual d...

I also had fatigue from my BP meds. Fortunately I was able to figure it out and have one of the dosages cut in half so I'm doing much better now.

Good luck getting it sorted out.
