I have schizotypal personality disorder, cyclothymia, and anxiety. Probably ADHD too.

Not sure if I have autism or not. I can be extremely immature and socially inapt. I am glad the OP figured out what his issues are. I am still struggling.

according to a psychologist, I have cyclothymia and schizotypal personality disorder. Not ADHD and Autistic as I originally thought, but close, so I feel your pain. One thing I've noticed about these forums is that some people have self-diagnosed. Sometimes they're just socially inapt, or something,...

Most characters in fiction are too black-n-white to exist in real life. Many characters are too altruistic, or too evil, or too funny, etc. So developing a psychological profile of any character can be too easy compared to real life.

But their gestures can be legit at least.

Does anyone else use movies to develop social skills? I use movies for the following: (1) Face blindness. I am kind of face blind, so movies help me practice. I try to recognize every actor. Where have I seen him/her before (2) Gestures. I try to examine every gesture the actors/actresses are making...

Unfortunately that's where things are going, at least in the US. Some people will see autistic people as dangerous.

the first casualities will be transgender, illegal aliens, and Ukraine. Few people will care about them. Ukraine is not the US, illegal aliens are in the country illegally, and transgenders are not exactly liked by most people. Then they'll go after bigger fishes: the department of education, the FB...

I thought about that. Maybe it is the fabrics, but when I take sleeping pills, or any other sleeping aids, the itching doesn't bother me.

I was 13. Almost everyone in my class didn't like me. This is the 80s we are talking about. Back then BMX bicycles were popular, and I used to hang out with the kids in the neighborhood. Eventually they all started to dislike me. When I was 16, some kids in my high school accepted me, up to a point....

I have always suffered from severe anxiety, deficiencies socializing, attention deficit issues. My family has never ever recommended I see a psychiatrist or psychologist. For starters, they're all catholic and have told me praying will make things better (it doesn't work for them at all). They also ...

I am terrified of driving, mainly because I have severe ADHD. Public transportation in Panama is nightmarish, since it isn't properly maintained. Some buses are like 10 years old and have air conditioner, but there are still buses that are more than 50 years old running around. In both cases, buses ...

At this point, I am 100% convinced the US has a serious IQ problem. It requires a really low IQ population for Trump to still be relevant.
