I want to get tested, but not for services, I want to finally know for sure why I am so different. Like others have said, it provides closure. Before I found out about this I was really getting to the point where I literally hated myself, and now I know that there is a reason I am the way I am, and ...

I am not a parent, but I do a lot of work with kids, and I hope to be one day. I have actually always found interacting with kids WAY easier than anyone else. Especially kids around age 5 or 6. It just seems natural to me unlike talking with my peers. And I can usually get them to warm up to me pret...

I get those, "am I faking it" feelings all the time too. I just have to look back and remember that who I am right now is not who I used to be when I was younger. I've gotten a lot better at handling things as I've gotten older. But also, I look back at my childhood and teen years, and I remember al...

I think that sounds like the same thing I experience, it feels like I am not real, or dreaming, or something. It's very odd...I've read in a couple different places that it's commonly part of aspergers/autism, but NTs can be affected too (it just happens to be more common in people who are AS/AUT) I...

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I was diagnosed with Tourettes when I was really little, but Aspergers runs in the family too. From what I gather, tics are something that you feel like you HAVE to do. And trying not too will just make them worse later. They are very unpleasant, I don'...

I'm 25 and I still touch everything  I like to rub things that have rough textures too like carpet. But some textures totally freak me out, so like I have to be careful not to touch it in a store if it looks like something that will freak me out lol. 21 here but mostly attracted to silky smoot...

I would have to say that some of my favorite things to talk about are actually Aspergers and Photography. I could talk about those two things all day if anyone was interested enough to listen!

My ears get hot right before, or right as I'm about to have a panic attack or a lot of anxiety. What happens usually is I will think about something and then almost immediately I can feel myself start to panic and I know I am because the first thing that happens is my ears, or face, or both will get...

I work as a portrait photographer and sales specialist for Lifetouch. The sales part can be stressful, but now that I've been doing it for about 2.5 years I've pretty much encountered every situation and formulated a plan/reply for it. I do enjoy my job, but I think I enjoyed it a little more when I...

This game is so addictive, I play it on the computer, xbox, and on my tablet so I can play it at work haha. My younger sister (11) also love it :) And yeah, like someone else said, it is a lot more fun once you really start to figure out all the things you can do. You should watch the Survive and Th...

I have tourettes syndrom, so I've always had lots of tics, although the vocal ones are pretty small now. I was having a really bad one at the end of the semester where I had to stretch ny beck from side to side all the time. SO annoying! But now that one's not so bad anymore. Now I mainly have to sc...

So I finally got an xbox 360, and I just don't know what to play on it. I used to buy Nintendo system after Nintendo system JUST for the Zelda games, but now that you have to use those terrible remotes, I just don't think I can do it anymore. So I know next to nothing about good xbox games, and my b...
