Yesterday I felt bad and angry after work because my colleague got a telling-off by a customer who turned out to be a staff member for the company I work for, because he had just simply told one of their kids to not run around on a scooter in the shop and accused him of being rude when he wasn't, he was worried for the child's safety and then turned to me, because I standing there when there was not much I could do as I was not able to physically do a staff discount on my system which other staff can do and also told me off for looking at my phone, which I feel now stupid for doing and knowing very well I shouldn't unless I want to look at the time.

I wasn't looking at the internet because we can't access it in our shop anyway as it's well inside a shopping centre and I know not to use it at work anyway.

Yes you do worry quite a lot

I think when people are defensive as part of their personality then that's a bit off putting for me personally
but if you are defending yourself when you've been accused of something then there's nothing wrong with that

Who else is gonna stand up for you if you don't

I don't know, how do you behave when you're defensive?
