I just like to go out there and have fun. My absolute favorite social activity is going to a theme park with friends. The time passes by really quickly when you have someone to talk to when you're waiting in line for those roller coasters.

Hopefully I can find someone to bring to Kings Island with me this year! I have all spring and summer, so who knows?

YES! How could I forget? I haven't done that in forever. :(

I really enjoyed my bachelor party. It was at a shooting range with a few of my friends from church. It was cool, also, since this was only the second time I had been to a shooting range and last time I was not instructed as to how to use a scope properly - namely that there must be no dark ring around the image. I was able to hit targets with a far amount of accuracy at 100 yards and was even able to roughly hit a target at 200 yards, and that was fairly cool.

Sitting in a coffee shop with either a laptop or a book, and watching the people come and go. :)

Does that count? ;)

Seriously: hiking partners and training/workout partners. Also, having someone with me on a road trip or on a beach.

I don't party or dance or drink. None of that is appealing.

I dislike dancing too. But actually, drinking is pretty fun! As long as you don't drink too much. It's interesting living without anxiety...

No they didn't. No offense, but I'm too immature to not get riled up when anybody mentions any religious concept as a normal, healthy or rational thing to occupy themselves with. There is a reason why I absolutely never enter the philosophy/religion board - I simply can't take it.

Should we infer from this that you don't go to church   :?:
You could say that I'm pretty much a militant atheist. I believe (no pun intended) that religion is the root of most (!) evil. That people find comfort with religion, I equate with people finding comfort with heroin. And CockneyRebel; It's nothing personal.

Long, deep conversations.
Going town shopping with friends and going each other's houses.
Sleepovers, I love it when you talk into the early hours about all sorts of crap.
Bowling

Oh one thing I remembered is that I like going to the Game Works Arcade with my coworker and his friends. Thats a blast, though they usually play fighting games and I kind of suck at them. xD

Yes, I enjoy this too.

I went to a friend's house last weekend.

A few other people were invited and the evening finished with a philosophical round table.............it was a rare treat.

Dinner and a show indeed

Is this a reference to the time one of the musicians went missing now?

I can enjoy most social stuff with the right person and if I'm feeling well.

-shopping (if I'm in the mood)
-animal related events (went to a horse adoption event with someone recently)
-museums!
-pretty much any learning experience (lecture, good movie, etc)

I like doing activities, but I don't like feeling trapped like I can't leave if I decide I want to. And I don't like not having a plan. I love doing different stuff, I'm just picky about how it goes

The only "social" (and I use the term loosely) activity I participate in, is my martial arts class.

On a few occasions I met up other gamers from the Internet and we played videogames w/pizza, that was pretty great.

I have a similar attitude toward those preaching the religion of atheism. I simply don't have enough faith to be an atheist.

Shooting and spotting.

Only problem is, when I'm shooting, I have no one spotting, and when I'm spotting, I have no one shooting. :/

I like just sitting and talking with friends, knowing that we both get along well. That makes me feel most content... but when the talk is over a solid round of video games is the best social activity in my book!

And spending time outdoors, I think.

Going down to the beach when it's amost deserted and walking, fishing. I don'r care if I catch one or not, it's just very calming to me.

I have a similar attitude toward those preaching the religion of atheism. I simply don't have enough faith to be an atheist.
Storm, to her credit,
despite my derision,
keeps firing off clichés
with startling precision,
like a sniper using
bollocks for ammunition.

-"You're so sure of your position,
but you're just close-minded,
I think you'll find that
your faith in science and tests,
is just as blind as the
faith of any fundamentalist."

Well, that's a good point,
let me think for a bit...

Oh wait, my mistake,
that's absolute BS.

Science adjusts it's views
based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation,
so that belief can be preserved.

If you show me that, say,
homeopathy works, then,
I will change my mind,
I will spin on a f*****g dime.
I'll be embarrassed as hell,
but I will run through the streets yelling:

It's a Miracle!
Take physics and bin it!
Water has memory!
And whilst it's memory
of a long lost drop
of onion juice seems infinite,
it somehow forgets
all the poo it's had in it.

You show me that it works,
and how it works,
and when I've recovered
from the shock,
I will take a compass
and carve 'fancy that'
on the side of my cock.

Excerpt from Storm by Tim Minchin

I don't see if there is anything else I need to add to this.
