The other day Redditors were making fun of Deviant Art for the millionth time, and once again I wondered if posting my own art and fiction on there was a good idea. There's a lot of stuff that's "cringey", but you find that on on basically any fan art/fiction sight. They were going on how people on DA make an "original" creation by just recoloring a character that already exists, and they showed an image of a Rocky the Flying Squirrel but he's green instead of grey.
And then somebody in the comments said people on DA are all autistic, too.

I tried to keep my own art and fiction non-cringey and at a G or a PG-rating. But nobody really notices or cares, they only care about the creepy, fetishy and poorly made junk that looks like it was drawn or written by hormone ravaged 12 year olds. Also I drew everything by hand and not by computer. If I tried drawing something by computer it would be like I didn't know how to draw at all. :(

Reddit basically hates anything that isn't reddit. Devientart is a fine platform for sharing home made art work. I encourage you to post there if you feel like sharing it with the internet. Best of luck.
