Well, it's like this. Death comes so naturally, I didn't know how to feel sad about it. Three of my grandparents are dead, and I don't feel sad. You could say maybe it was because I wasn't particularly close to them, but there were a few people you may say I admired or were close with, and when they were really sick and had to go to the hospital, I wasn't horribly miserable either.

I feel things, I just don't always know which label to use, do feelings all feel different or do we only know what they are because of the situation we are in?

I have felt all of the ones in the alphabetical list of emotions in the Wikipedia article on emotions.
(Typical Aspie response:
Person X: "Let's talk about feelings!"
Me: "Just a second, I need to look 'feelings' up in the encyclopedia". )

As a child, I almost never experienced anger. I've only just begun to feel it within the past year or so. It's really uncomfortable, especially if it's intense and my hands and legs start trembling.

i don't feel fear easily. i've been able to handle heights and enclosed spaces since i was a baby. if you asked me what my phobia was i couldn't tell you. i'm not saying i'm fearless or some macho crap like that, but i honestly can't tell you what i'm afraid of.

I feel all the basic emotions. I think one thing I don't have is rage. If I think of certain things, I may feel sad or even sick to my stomach, but not angry.

When I was a kid and had my cast removed, the doctors and my mom told me to look away because they were afraid I would get scared of them pulling the pins out of my cast, but I wasn't afraid of it at all. They were quite astonished. Looking at things like blood and guts never particularly disturbed me; I might even have been intrigued. Watching scary movies didn't particularly bother me either. It was only scary because of the things popping out in front of your screen suddenly, and my reaction time actually doesn't suck.

I also have difficulty with this, my emotions are all characterised by the same physical feeling and I have to use the situation to discern what I am feeling.

I feel intense love, but I never feel loneliness. It is something that is hard for my friends and family to understand.

Them: Did you miss me?
Me: I enjoy being with you.

(gotta love half truths).

It's hard for people to understand how you could love them but not miss them. I have not spoken to most of my imediate family in more than 1 year, but I still love them and have no desire to talk to them.

I very rarely get bored. Or angry.
If i´m tired i might not have the energy to be very compassionate.
