I can't believe that when I was a kid, I actually had to TRY to stay up until midnight. These days, it's hard NOT to.

That said, I was all alone, and sober, so yeah.

The reverse is true for me. I'm on Zyprexa right now, taken at night, and have been for 6 years- it's totally ingraned itself on my circadian rhythm, even if I don't take it. And I generally beocme almost nauseated with exhaustion an hour and a half or so after taking it, so if I am having a hyper night and need to sleep, that'll generally do it. ((I was a HUGE insomniac till I was 13 and put on it. It was awful))

I was totally absorbed on a game of Civilization 4, didnt notice the time and somehow managed to overlook this monumental event of such grave historical magnitude.

But Ghandi kicked some serious ass against the confucian alliance, on level 4! So the night wasnt completely wasted.

The good part about yesterday is we're having awesome surf and I got to see Shane Dorian surf in Kona. But then I drank too much and passed out at like 7pm. We had fireworks but since I was asleep we set them off tonight instead.
