Err, I was under the impression Brad Pitt refused to be in Troy unless they removed the references to Achilles being homosexual from it, it strikes me as odd that he'd suddenly be up for a gay-themed role. Ah well..

Ah, but that was *before* Brokeback swept the award nominations. People in Hollywood used to worry that playing a gay character would kill their career, but now they think playing a gay character will get them a gold statue. Rainman's success probably led to the "green light" for MatW, and I hope MatW leads to other projects.

I already saw it a few months ago thanks to P2P (i have an excuse, i live in France). It roxor, it's a must see for every Aspie, though some moments were kinda depressing to me because they remembered me some difficult moments i had in my existence. IMDB states the project had to be done by Steven Spielberg at the beginning, but eventually he was overloaded with work, and Peter Naess shot it. Damn, even if Peter did well IMHO, if Steven had shot it, it would have been far better since he presented many Aspie traits in his childhood, plus, with his fame, the movie would have known a worldwide premiere, not a limited one in only a few USA states...
