Hello Everyone,

I am just curious who drew the picture of the "Asperger alien."

I like this alien very much. I'd like to buy one of the t-shirts with him(or her) when I have some money.

Was this drawn by the creator of WP, Alex?

I much prefer the strange little blue creature right at the bottom of the page, underneath 'Aspergers Is Not A Disease'.

You mean the chibi-hippo with inexplicably smooth skin?

Ah... I didn't even notice the hippo until you mentioned it! Are you sure its a hippo? It doesn't look anatomically correct. Maybe an alien hippo?

Now I will change my discussion thread to : "Who drew the Asperger Alien and the Alien Hippo?"

Well, the hippo was obviously designed by David Lanham, which is whose site you are directed to when you click on it.

(that was an awkward sentence)

Yes. I agree. Thank you for answering one of my two questions, Dyingofpoetry.

But the designer of the alien remains a mystery.

I believe it is David Lanham, as there is the link at the bottom of the page

Yes, Friskeygirl, it is undoubtedly him. I like his designs.

I don't like the alien (too childish) but the hippo's cute :)

Interesting, Lene. It is the childish nature of the alien that is a major reason I like it. It evokes feelings of naive wonder, as an alien would feel, if he/she was on the wrong planet.

I like the alien because it shows an Aspie's vision of what appears to be an alien world to us. :)
