I was just looking on OK cupid. Someone commented one someone elses (not mine) profile. Saying "he has the look of someone with AS.

Anyone else feel this type of thinking makes us look like sterotypes and is demeening?

It's a good way to tell if someone is cool or not. If they have the "flat affect", they're cool ('cause they're quiet). If they have a bubbly smile, they suck ('cause they're loud).

What is the look of someone with Aspergers, anyways? Can we all get Aspergers masks made up for Hallowe'en?

One of my friends was saying how some Aspies have a certain look and to a certain extent it's true but obviously not with all Aspies.

ooh I'd get a mask lol, no wait, I wouldn't need to mwaahaha
I think the look is sort of like younger looking or sometimes have a sort of "deep in thought" look, I can't really describe it but when I met my first aspie friend I knew as soon as I saw him, he just had that "look"

At a meeting of people with PDD-NOS, AS and HFA I attended, quite a few people had this "autistic look" about them. Some telltale marks were a bit of a blank/staring look (not looking at people, but rather at (to a casual observer) random points in the room), some light stimming/tic behaviors and a bit of a stiff look that showed motoric motions just a little less fluid than the average NT. It's kinda difficult to explain, but I kinda feel too that there's such a thing as an autistic look. My sisters mentioned to me once they notice it about me too if they look very closely.

Four pictures. I can't tell by looking at his pictures.

The way he writes, his title might make me wonder but that's about it.

It tells me I have to login in order to view it.

Post the picture itself here. Like this:
