Um...if this is old, ignore me.

I would draw for the sake of supporting this site, but I have no way of getting any of my drawings on here. Besides, my drawings tend to be both dark and cartoony. I definately need more practice. But, if I find a way to get some drawings on my computer, then for sure I'll try to submit something!

Cheers til then.

Okay, here's mine! Follow the link to see the picture.

By the way, does the character have a name or decided powers yet? If he has AS, then his coordination might be poor, so he probably shouldn't be involved in too much direct combat.
Also, the OP mentioned something about how girls should be really attracted to him. I don't really see the point in that. I guess he might have some fangirls, but as a girl myself, I don't want to see women portrayed as mindless cows who fall in love left and right. The OP probably didn't mean to offend, but I want to point out that one should be careful how one portrays people, especially people who have historically been looked down on.

Anyway, I hope that I am considered as an option for an artist.

the thread from the dead...;) 4 years and counting.

If you're still interested, and can't draw (like me..;) there's a free program called Daz Studio at Daz 3d. If you've seen Poser people, it's much the same thing. Would be a little daunting to quickly produce thing, but it's not hard to make pictures.

You can 'cartoonize' things with the Gimp (also free...something like Photoshop).

Just my 2p..;)

Drat ! !!

Thought this thread would have lots of fine examples of cartooning art ! !!

I made the mistake of hiring work done from a bloke on Guru.com, he wanted the money up front and then I realized he wasn't all that good. His portfolio was very good, but the stuff he sent me wasn't.

I would like to point out that I can't draw as well on the tablet I currently have as I can in real life. Submitting drawings on paper is a problem because at the moment I do not know how to use a scanner. I've been thinking of getting a tablet computer, so that the surface I draw on is the same as were I see the picture. That way it will be more like drawing on paper.

I know I'm making ecsuses, but I would really like it if my art were considered.

Scanners are basic if you work in art on a computer. You can make a nice sketch in black and white, scan it, save it and then using Photoshop color it in all sorts of ways. If you get a nice result you can print it out after saving and then start all over again from the saved sketch or from the colored sketch saving each trial. If you print it out you can rework it as paper and scan it again for more variations. Scanners are not all that expensive and worth the price and very easy to use. Here is one of my strips (strictly amateur).

Hey...you can draw!...;) not amateurish at all...

This is what happens when I try to do comics...;)
NOTE - the material is not my own, but based on a real comic. This is fan art.
