i would say it is related to asperger's because what you discribed is called stiming. i have a lot of my own stims that i do.
Stimming is a repetitive body movement, such as hand flapping, that is hypothesized to stimulate one or more senses. The term is shorthand for self-stimulation. Repetitive movement, or stereotypy, is often referred to as stimming under the hypothesis that it has a function related to sensory input
Is it still stimming if I can stop? And my main motivator to do this is because I get very excited doing this because I find it funny. I find it exciting/funny to make "EUHHHH" noises, roll on the floor, jump, rock my body, fall on the floor and move my body parts, etc.
I don't do this when it isn't socially acceptable, except for a few cases to amuse my friends.
