Regarding the sexuality aspect: I've known a couple of women who took anti-depressant medications to purposefully lower their libidos (even though they weren't depressed), because they had moral oppositions to sex but were struggling with temptation. I guess one person's "side effect" is another's t...

I'm an NT female who's been dating an AS male for 1.5 years now. We've had our ups and downs and arguments, but now that we've both learned a lot more about AS, it's made our differences more manageable and improved our communication. For instance, neither of us used to know about "sensory issues" o...

Have you considered talking to a physician and taking a medication, maybe? I know not everyone likes the idea, but my BF has AS and he's found that medication has helped him a lot with anxiety, OCD, and panic attacks. A daily SSRI as well as an as-needed low dose of clonazepam has helped him feel mu...

I'm not single, but these are a few that I remember liking: -no dishes piling up in the sink -no one criticizing my craptastic taste in music -no one complaining that I sometimes listen to the same song on repeat 8 million times -getting to flirt with strangers -no one banishing my kitty from the be...

I come on here to talk to a few friends....oh and I'm super super bored today because people keep killing me on my mmo. This conversation is just passing the time, it is somewhat tiring and lacking in the entertainment department. I feel you on that. I'm supposed to be studying for yet anothe...

You're posting on an internet forum about morality do you really think that's a more entertaining past time than getting even? I do, that's why I'm doing it  I like reading about people's viewpoints and learning what people think. Not that I've gone to any great lengths to make my cheating ex ...

You don't have to key their car and you really don't have to kill them. You just make sure every man/woman they get near knows what they are about. It also isn't lying if you say that a cheater cheated on you. Or you make up a false alias, trick them into plotting to cheat and showing the evidence ...

By allowing people to get away with cheating you encourage them to do so. I know it's a long shot but if you were standing next to Hitler after he had killed his first thousand, or ten thousand or however many jews it takes to make it a big deal to you would you kill him to prevent the needless sla...

I don't think getting revenge on cheaters, etc. is helpful in the long-run. It just puts you in a bad place mentally and isn't a very mature thing to do. As hard as it might be to believe, people who cheat and lie and do all those things usually do get their comeuppance in the end. It might happen i...

I don't get the fantasies like brian does, but I do have a sick evil demented feeling deep inside whenever i hear of a breakup that happened. Schadenfreude? At least you know that, if there's a word for it, you're not the only one who feels it sometimes. That's what I tell myself, anyway

I've never really had that kind of a connection with anyone My BF also has mild AS and says the same thing. We didn't really "click...

My boyfriend is an artist (as are both of his parents), but he's not particularly different or more intense about love than anyone else I've dated. He seems about on par with "the average guy." Maybe the difference is that his art is actually his special interest but not his career? He actually work...
