I have no experiences in such things. I read on many websites that the female telling the male she likes him would make her seem "desperate", and that this is never a good option. Is that only for teenagers and below? How about the rest of us? Is this a good thing for the female to ever do? Tell him...

Yes, be specific, but also ask him to help you with something at which you think he excels. It gives you the opportunity to compliment him, but it also enables another layer of interaction between the two of you. I ready a study the other day about how getting someone to do you a favor ends up havi...

Thanks for these suggestions, 4 generous posters. :P I have little experience with such matters, so just reading these proves very helpful. When I see him again in person, I will take these thoughts into account. If you saw a movie together, then that might mean that he likes you. I had initiated th...

I generally do not focus on compliments of a physical nature, especially when it comes to men. I mean, with my female friends, it is easy to compliment...You can tell them about their hair or shirt or something. But from what I read (and I suppose observations as well), it is different with males. I...

I got an 80.0 on the RAADS-R.

And then a whopping 32 on the eye test. On that Your Aspie/NT Score one, I got a 102 Aspie and 120 NT.
And yet they still want to call it Aspergers. Oh well.

Seeing Ghibli movies for the first time as a child is magical.

Seeing Ghibli movies for the first time as an adult makes you sentimental for those times when everything was "magical".

I saw this trailer in a large Imax theater before the movie Prometheus. I almost couldn't contain myself due to excitement.

In case you were wondering, yes, it was dreadfully loud...but hearing Howard Shore's wonderful compositions again negated that problem.

I plan to cosplay Misuzu Kamio at a small convention this January. I know real cosplayers take it seriously, but I'm just doing it for fun. I'm doing the thing that real cosplayers dread - I was able to make Misuzu's school uniform from my own clothes. And then I made the neck ribbon. I don't sew, a...

I generally never go for the big-name shounen. The closest I've ever gotten to that was completing all 51 episodes of Soul Eater. Fairy Tail, however...Again, I am not a fan of long shounen series. But I have seen exactly 19 episodes of it. Not ground-breaking, not wonderful. But the light-heartedne...

Hello - Quite obviously, I've just joined. I am a college-aged female; extremely passionate about Japanese animation. I am most excited when I can watch anime. I recently joined an anime club. When asked about how I like it (by someone not in the club, of course), I replied that no one there likes a...

In response to the OP, I am finding a thread like this helpful, even if there are only a few posts at the moment. It is good to go over these things; to see them in writing. Especially when I've never done any of this before. I am going to see a movie tomorrow night with a male for whom my feelings ...

I hope I can find some advice from like-minded individuals - To start off, I am a college-aged woman who has never had a boyfriend or been on a date. Nor have I been very interested in such things. I used to not be interested in people - especially on...that level. So, this is all a new situation fo...
