So this girl I met at a bbq kept looking at me and smiling. She also rubbed up against me, told me how she was an introvert and her little brother was really socially awkward, and just seemed super interested. She came out again a few days later and my friend said earlier she was weird but I did not...

Its not about what you know...Its about who you know. Sadly that puts most of us Aspies at a massive disadvantage. However there has been a boom in remote work and online businesses that could make finding a job and starting a business much easier for you. You could start a online business or a go ...

Well I have not looked for a decade, but I did look after covid and if this is any help, it seems easier to get hired in a sub 3% unemployment environment (there are a few places in the US like that, but as the pay or cost of living is too high and jobs that pay above what I earn are scare, it is no...

I will say this no one owes me anything. Now that we have that out of the way, I have been talking to a few people (about 5) mostly outside the country. I have met the majority of them in person, and will move to a place closer to them, but more for work and entrepreneurship than solely them, but it...

I can kind of relate at one point, but after getting burnt with a "proper" relationship and hearing horror stories, I am kinda ambivalent. Honestly for me the threshold went up in terms of talking to women. I am talking to some women, but I am not jumping into exclusivity right away as I w...

The last church I went to was an Orthodox church and while I did not sign on the dotted line due to some differences in theology, I do really appreciate them as people. I felt closer to God there than at any Protestant or Catholic church. Now it is just me and the big man, but I do feel more at ease...

Hi, I feel like as I get older, many tasks that came easy before are getting harder. I have been looking for work since 2022, and while I have gotten some interviews, it led nowhere. I have also noticed stress has gotten to me more lately. I think part of it is before is that the economy sucks and t...

What has been getting me interviews was creating projects at my place of work, even if I got scolded for it, but I still put it on my resume and still got a few calls.

While I am trying to shift into a new field, I can relate. I feel like my autism is finally catching up with me and I need some ADA help myself. The only difference for me is I am switching fields likely soon. Best of luck.

Hi friend, hope all is well. I do have a few suggestions. Perhaps you should try to read up on SEO or brand marketing via various things like youtube etc. Another thing is if you are only doing your own designs, perhaps you could be a vendor or in other words find a way to do contracts with companie...

I think for those with the PDA profile of autism, this is especially true.

So I have been at my current job about 4 1/2 years, but they are buckling down on metrics, NT, ND, or otherwise. I do have a job interview almost lined up, but I emailed them say I am pretty open on availability but no response, but in fairness to them, they did schedule two weeks out, so someone ma...

I think many companies are like this or at least "right sizing" and pushing off work. I know you said you have been looking, but I would look at as many angles as possible (not saying you need to move, but might need to change plans in some way).

Hey not to make it stick out like a sore thumb, but people are still asking for a vaccine? That is a bit odd to me (I may have seen tis 1 in 500 applications, but have not seen that probably in 2-3 years). Regardless, it is hard out there, and I wish you luck. I would see if you can transfer to anot...

You are fine. What annoys me is most interactions (with the opposite sex) seem like edge cases. Outside my boss they seem like normal banter and even with my boss seem like banter. Idk.just wish there was a heuristic to figure it out
